Bailey is a Licensed Mental Health Counseling Associate and earned her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Rhode Island College. Bailey has a passion for working with teens and adults. She also enjoys working with parents to provide coaching and support regarding their loved ones impacted by an eating disorder or other mental health concerns.
Bailey has worked in the eating disorder field, both from a research and clinical perspective, for the past 5 years. She has worked in the home-based, intensive outpatient, and outpatient settings. Treatment modalities she uses include: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Family Based Therapy (FBT). Bailey also draws heavily upon Attachment Theory, Emotions Focused Therapy, and Interpersonal Psychotherapy in her work.
Bailey approaches each client with positive regard and from an holistic lens. She cares deeply about providing clients the space to explore their personal values that may motivate change in their life as well as helping clients gain attunement of their emotions. Bailey strives to create a space where her clients feel seen, heard, and valued.
